We arrived at Tailem Bend and had a look around till lunch time, we had lunch on the River foreshore, well below where the motorhome was parked.

Note the bus, well above the eating area

Flies and ands were bad but the area is well shaded

From Tailem Bend, we backtracked on the highway we came in on to the Coorlongs turn off. The coorlongs are very long and we found very few entrances to the beach till we neared Kingston where signs indicated 'Surf Beach'. But there was plenty of rest areas with great views which is good because it allowed other traffic to get passed us. The highway through the Coorlongs is not good for overtaking.

The weather was hot, but the Breeze was nice!!!!

Next stop was Kingston where we spent the night and went fishing off the Jetty.

Was able to park right at the Jetty

The next morning we set off to Robe, Robe is on the old highway but if you are travelling this way, you will not be dissapointed. There is much to see in Robe.

Fishing is best done on the Jetty or where

the boats enter the harbour, also check out the jail remains and the original buildings

Finally we arrived at Mt Gambier, this place has so much to offer, Water comes out of springs after being filtered by the limestone as fresh drinking water and runs back to the see.
This is the Crayfish Capital and the crayfish can be huge.
You can dive the caves under the city and in the surronding area, the area is a pine plantation area, but these days redwood chipping is being developed and it is becoming a huge grape growing area.
