Jack has always been a great companion and friend whom we have taken on many trips and has always been our incentive
to walk the beaches, go camping and has been one of the family.
As of 10 September 2005, Jack is no longer with us, his heart murmer and arthritis finally caught up with him and after a
seisure a few days before we had to put him down.
We will miss him and this site is dedicated to him as he has always remained a true friend.
We love you Jack

We rescued Jack from the dog pound in Maryborough Victoria when we were living there.
He was the only dog that was not barking at the time, he just sat there shivering. The pound operator estimated
him at about 7 years old when we got him back in 1995, he now is showing his age as he is near totally deaf & has cataracs
in his eyes.
This is a dog who hates being alone in his old age, if locked in a yard or somewhere where he cannot see
anyone, then he will bark & bark till our return, but if allowed to sit on our veranda where he can see passers by then
he does not make a sound. Just waits till someone he knows returns.
Jack loves to travel.
He will sit in a car and not move for the whole trip, but as soon as the door is open he is out to look around.
It is the same in the Motorhome, he finds a place to lie down for the trip and when we stop he is waiting for the door to
open.
